《蒼蠅與茉莉》
 .
一隻大眼睛的蒼蠅，
停歇在含苞茉莉花朵上，
不時用牠的兩隻後腳刷刷牠的一雙翅翼，
非常愛好清潔和講究體面的樣子。
也許這是對於美的一種褻瀆，
應該拿 D.D.T.來懲罰。
但是誰也不能證明牠不是上帝造的，
誰也不能證明牠在上帝眼中是一個
醜惡的存在。

《Fly and Jasmine》
.
A fly with huge eyes,
rests on a budding jasmine,
rubbing from time to time its pair of wings with its two hind legs,
with a look of cleanliness and genteelism.
Perhaps this is a blasphemy against beauty,
that should be punished with D.D.T..
Yet it is not created by God no one can prove that,
no one can prove that it is in the eyes of God a
hideous existence.
