如果我的詩散發出一種
有如巴黎香水之香味，
那就請你們千萬不要用
波特萊爾的狗一般的鼻子來聞嗅！

如果我的詩呈現出一種
雨後如虹之七彩，
那就請你們千萬不要用
我的貓一般的全色盲的眼睛來觀看！
如果我的詩當我輕聲朗誦時
我的愛人聽了居然感動得流下了眼淚，
則我將說
沒有白活了這一輩子。

如果我的詩朗誦
上帝聽了喜歡並給我以許多的祝福，
則我將不再夢想
什甚諾貝爾獎金之類的了

《If My Poems》
.
If my poems emanate a kind of
fragrance like the scent of Paris perfume,
please don’t ever use
Baudelaire’s nose of dog to smell them!
.
If my poems manifest a kind of
rainbow colors after the rain,
please don’t ever use
my color-blind eyes of cat to watch them!
If my poems when I recite them gently
upon hearing them my lover is surprisingly moved to tears,
then I will say
I do live in this life.

If my poems recited
God listened liked them and gave me a lot of blessings,
then I would dream no longer
about the so called Nobel Prize or whatsoever
