《寂寞》

鄉下小孩子怕寂寞， 
枕頭邊養一隻蟈蟈； 
長大了在城裏操勞， 
他買了一個夜明錶。 
小時候他常常羨慕， 
墓草做蟈蟈的家園； 
如今他死了三小時， 
夜明錶還不曾休止。 

《Loneliness》

A country kid was afraid of loneliness,
by his pillow he kept a cricket;
Grown up working hard in the city,
he bought a luminous watch.
As a kid he always envied,
the home of the cricket the grass in the graveyard could be;
For three hours by now he's been dead,
the luminous watch has yet never rested.
