【讀書】911, by Noam Chomsky

Chomsky, being one of the most important linguists ever, is also renowned for his acute social criticism. In this book about the recent event, Chomsky launches a profound unofficial view, tearing down the veil of hypocrisy of the US government. He reminds us USA is the first and only country officially condemned as a terrorist country so far for what it has done to Nicaragua by the international court, and it, or course, denied the accusation. He displayed tons of solid evident proving its terrorist action against anyone in its way of imperialistic desire.

When I was reading it, I was really amazed at and ashamed of the fact that ALL the events cited are unknown to me. If you are long aware of the imperialistic character of US's foreign policy, you must be, like me, happy to encounter such a strong support. If, on the other hand, you are always a naive supporter for the country, thinking it is the one which always saves the world, you are going to have a really hard time.

Some may doubt that he may be working for the terrorist and doing some propaganda. I assure you that it is not the case. His view is objective and grounded on undisputable facts. This can be shown by his unprejudiced attack on US's irritating bias for Israel, himself being an American Jew.

Highly recommended for all truth lovers.
